Historic facts and findings about Lidice

Following, you will find a list with some historical facts about Lidice:

• Lidice was located 20 minutes northeast from Prague. 
• In the last official census (1890) there were 506 people and 50 houses. 
• The first founded school was registered in the town's history in 1713 and had an estimate of 127 students. This school had a unique heating system that was the first of its kind in Bohemia. In the year 1824 a new school was built.
